Alachua, FL 32615, August 24, 2008 -  Smart Trailer USA today announced the addition of the Toyota Prius to the types of cars for which the company builds RV trailers.

Richard Hill, a partner in the firm, said, "Sales of Smart Trailers are growing as people around the country are discovering us." He also noted that the Prius was added to the product line due to requesta from RV owners who wanted the abiltity to put their Prius on a trailer rather than tow it with all four wheels, or on a tow dolly. Neither of the latter methods allow the RV to be backed up. Having the car on a trailer permits backing and also reduces sear and tear on the car.

"We will be adding models for other cars as our customers express their need for them," Hill said, and added that "Many RV'ers live in their motor homes full, or near full time, the price of fuel has slowed the number and distance of their trips. More and more, they are using their towed car for local and regional trips. Having an economical car to do that really helps."
