The Smart Trailer USA was designed by a graduate mechanical engineer and is built by a D.O.T. licensed trailer manufacturing company under exclusive contract to Smart Sales, LLC. This trailer is designed in accordance with accepted US automotive trailer design standards for towing behind large motorhomes, including the ability to be backed up while hitched to the tow vehicle.

Smart Sales, LLC, is the owner of the Smart Trailer USA name, the Smart Trailer USA design, the Smart Trailer USA trademark and this website.

The length of the trailer in relation to the bumper to bumper length of the vehicle length is critical.
Example: Car length is 11'7", so we suggest that you choose the STXL14.

NOTE: It is up to YOU to choose your model

We recommend having 2' extra length so you can adjust the vehicle position on the trailer when driving onto it. This also ensures that the vehicle will be balanced on the trailer.

All models have a 4' tongue, so for example, the STXL-14 will be 18' long.
